I really feel sorry for the accused:
The “safety incident” that compelled a New-York sure flight to make an emergency touchdown at LaGuardia Airport on Saturday turned out to be a misunderstanding — after an airline passenger mistook one other traveler’s digital camera for a bomb, sources mentioned Sunday.
American Airways Flight 4817 from Indianapolis — operated by Republic Airways — made an emergency touchdown at LaGuardia simply after three p.m., and authorities took a suspicious passenger into custody for a number of hours.
It seems the would-be “bomber” was only a classic digital camera aficionado and the lady who reported him made a mistake, sources mentioned.
Why on the planet was the passenger in custody for “a number of hours”? They didn’t do something incorrect.
Again in 2007, I known as this the “war on the unexpected.” It’s why “see one thing, say one thing” doesn’t work. When you put amateurs within the entrance strains of safety, don’t be stunned once you get novice safety. I’ve lots of examples.
