ByteDance reportedly reaches deal to promote TikTok American operations

TikTok father or mother firm ByteDance has reportedly agreed to promote its American operations to forestall the Trump administration from banning it within the US, in line with Reuters.

It was not clear Saturday whether or not the deal would contain Microsoft, or whether or not it will stave off a ban.
